Developer Relations Advocate for a Blockchain Layer 2 Scaling Solution Organization!
We are looking for an exceptional Developer (DevRel) Advocate to join an innovative Layer 2 Scaling Solution firm working remotely. As an ideal candidate, you will be constantly playing with the most recent releases and quickly build demos that show off what is possible, so that other devs become attracted and can use your examples to build on.
Essential Requirements :
- Currently based in a European time zone (eastern european, central european).
- Blockchain programming experience in at least one chain (multiple chains/platforms/layers is a plus!).
- 5+ years software engineering experience with at least one language and framework other than: web development, scripting, and smart contracts.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) and socially-inclined personality.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Become domain experts in the application/use and capability of the company
- Continually internalise the knowledge held by the development team by absorbing information from the appropriate internal communication channels, then put it into practice as a developer so you can perpetually be the top developer in the project’s ecosystem with the goal to help/inform other developers in the ecosystem with their own projects
- Assist the Labs and Business Development team in relations with portfolio/prospective projects
- Moderate the dev QnA channels
- Brainstorm, implement, deploy, and document creative dapps/demos that showcase new features of releases
- Perform competitive comparisons of developer experience across other competing platforms
- Verify technical deliverables from company’s portfolio projects
- Judge hackathon project submissions
- Host development workshops and “office hours” for our dev community
