About The Role
HEW (Health, Environment & Waste) are here to make Logan a clean and green City through delivering innovative and sustainable initiatives in waste and recycling. We’re a small and close-knit team made up of six (6) who provide administrative support to the 3 programs within the HEW branch. You will be supporting an efficient team who provide high quality administrative, finance and customer support to the Waste Administration and Contract Management Coordinator (Waste and Recycling).
We’re looking for a competent Administration Officer but you’ll also be a pro-active thinker with well-developed interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude who keeps the community at the heart of all they do.
However, more important than experience, we’re looking for someone with the following characteristics:
- you’re known for your reliability, can work autonomously and can provide assistance with a variety of tasks
- you are customer centric, are approachable and take pride in your work
- you're a multi-tasking superstar who approaches work with high-energy, drive and self motivation
