Operations Applications Support Specialist

Job Summary

Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • Participate in all aspect of the Nawah operation system implementation including, but not limited to gathering of core business application solution requirements, contributing in the establishment of solution objectives, assisting in the evaluation of application functionality, measuring the solution impact, creating test plans and scripts and conducting integration testing to ensure application running within service level agreement with business.
  • Assist in identifying and assessing application requirement gaps and operation application issues and risks to business units and current technology within operation technology to maintain the operation application stabilities
  • Establish and maintain liaison relationship with business partners within one or more functional unit in order to provide effective technical solutions and align technology with business strategies.
  • Seek opportunities to improve and deepen relationship between Nawah Operation technology and Business partners that leads to process innovation opportunity.

Core Application Designs & Solution

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Participate in designing the business application solutions by identifying and evaluating options to establish core applications of a high quality standards corresponding to business requirements.
  • Assist in preparing functional specifications for core business applications to resolve issues and overcome challenges.
  • Support the operation application business processes designing or integration and cross multiple functions to ensure better application implementation.
  • Serve as a technical lead and as a bridge between the business and the project team by providing recommendations for business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology, investigate problems and develop recommendations for resolution and Identifying need for technical assistance to help in problem resolution.
  • Create and deliver related user documentation and end-user training to ensure efficient end user utilization of the technology features.

Client Engagement

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing core applications performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Engage with clients and keep them up to date on problems, issues, and resolutions to ensure better customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Participate in the assessment of client needs utilizing a structured requirements process such as gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks, and cost vs. benefits.
  • Assist in analyzing client operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities for improvements.

Operations Technology Strategic Planning

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Participate in the data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements.
  • Participate in the short- and long-term planning sessions to ensure understanding of business goals and direction.
  • Provide input from a business and information technology perspective.
  • Generate appropriate communication, process and educational plans and identifies obstacles to change to mitigating the disruption of during the change process.

Operation Application Testing

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Participate in developing user test cases and system integration testing and gather test results during testing for verification to ensure fulfilment of business requirements as appropriate.
  • Assist in reviewing test plans and executing test cases to ensure that conducted tests are solid and sufficient to reveal any potential gaps and that core application functionalities are as required.
  • Assist in monitoring testing process to ensure that business results are achieved adequately with minimal risk.
  • Participate in implementing test strategies involving appropriate integration and process components to avoid any regression across the system landscape.

Health and Safety and Security

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Follow all relevant company’s Health and Safety policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure compliance in all aspects of work as per sound management practices. Apply these policies and procedures to self and others to ensure reasonable care of the health and safety of the employee; the environment; and various individuals who may be affected by the employee’s acts or omissions at work.
  • Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and Corporate assets.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information Technology, Management Information System, Engineering Management, or similar.
  • 3 years of relevant experience

Education:

Engineering or Science
